Shipping policy

Overview

We have a very diverse product range and ship all over the world, so delivery charges vary by products selected and destination, as follows:

Mainland UK (excluding Offshore UK & Scottish Highlands)

SAME DAY DESPATCH if ordered before 14:00

Orders £75 and over have FREE delivery. Orders under £75 incur a delivery charge dependent on the service selected. These amounts include VAT where applicable.

Offshore UK & Scottish Highlands

SAME DAY DESPATCH if ordered before 14:00

All orders incur a £25 delivery charge. This amount includes VAT where applicable.

Rest of the World (including Europe, USA, Canada, Australia etc.)

NEXT DAY DESPATCH if ordered before 14:00

For worldwide destinations, our primary delivery partners are: UPS for the North and South Americas, Fedex for Asia Pacific, and DPD for Europe. The price for these services varies depending on the weight and volume of items in your basket, as well as your specific location, and the price will update accordingly at point of checkout. 

The payment of Duty and VAT upon import into your country will be paid directly to the import agent by us and you will pay these to us as part of your order. This shipping method is called DDP (Deliver Duty Paid) and we may require additional tax and ID information from you based on your shipping and invoice locations, and we will contact you for these if they are required by the shipping company. This service is designed to speed up delivery of your order and minimise risk of delay through customs.

Checkout Process

Once you have entered address details on the checkout, you will be able to see the delivery options available to you. DPD deliver most of our UK orders; they will contact you after we despatch the goods and give you a delivery window. You can give them specific delivery instructions at that point or rearrange delivery.

In situations where we cannot determine the delivery charges at the point of ordering on the website (for large international orders, and palletised lighting), the shipping method will be stated as "Quote Required". In these circumstances, we will only charge you for the goods ordered in the website checkout process. We will contact you after your order with a quote for delivery charges, and you may cancel the order at that point or pay the quoted delivery charge before delivery. Alternatively, email us detailing the items you are interested in and your delivery address, and we will provide a shipping quote directly.

In addition, we reserve the right to amend a delivery charge quoted on the website, but we will always inform you before proceeding with the order.

When can I expect my delivery?

If your order is placed before 14:00 and all the items on your order are in stock, we aim to despatch the same day using a 24hr delivery service to mainland UK. This service does not deliver at weekends. Other destinations will have longer transit times. For orders placed after 14:00, we aim to despatch the following working day. Premium delivery services will be delivered in accordance with the service selected.

If your order contains custom products (manufactured or ordered specially), we will wait for all your ordered items to be in stock before despatching your entire order. Custom product orders typically take 6-8 weeks from date or order to despatch. Please get in touch with us if you would like parts of your order to be despatched as and when they become available. Partial dispatch may incur a separate delivery charge for each delivery.
